Later in life, Āehēcamalacotl would develop his signature salt technique to aid in his fights. It involves thick tendrils manifesting on his back to lash out at enemies at high speed up to 15ft.   (1/Day): When reduced to 30hp or fewer, for 1 minute the arms are:
  • Resistant to all damage
  • Speed increases to 50 ft. (walking/climbing)
  • Arm attacks deal an extra 3d6 lightning damage
  •  
    • Each is capable of 2d8+5 bludgeoning damage.
    • Can move up to 15ft using arms
    • If the target is large or smaller, the target must succeed on a DC 17 DEX saving throw or be grappled (escape DC 17 STR (Athletics) check).
    • A grappled target can be thrown up to 30ft, taking 3d6+5 bludgeoning damage and must then succeed on a DC 15 DEX saving throw or be knocked prone.
    • These can deflect range attacks, reducing the damage by d10+5)
    • When a target within 15ft attempts a melee attack, an arm would attempt to grapple them

    Āehēcamalacotl attended school for the sons of nobility, but he was obviously the poorest. This experience made him deeply empathetic toward the struggles of those below his station.

    As a young man, Āehēcamalacotl endeavoured to join the Jaguar Warriors, a military order dedicated to elite combat and strategic warfare.   His tenacity and cunning earned him the title of "Teacher of Youths". Āehēcamalacotl, as a mentor, guided those under him in both martial prowess and strategic thinking.
     

    Teacher

    Shortly after proving himself as an effective teacher, he attained a position at the House of Song in Sangsalgu Proper, where he instilling a deep respect for discipline and courage through several cohorts.  

    Cuauhtlahtoh

    The highest position in the army Āehēcamalacotl rose to was that of a "War Chief". While known for his unorthodox fighting style, his actual battlefield tactics were always considered basic and uninspired. Thus, he was unable to truly inspire his troops, even though he had never suffered any catastrophic defeats on his record.  

    Rebel General

    After years of loyal service within the noble hierarchy, Āehēcamalacotl grew disillusioned. He left the military and became publicly associated with the discontented in the cocao producing regions.   His leadership earned him the loyalty of the local people. Such that they aided him in his willing exile when It became apparent that the negotiated peace was what was best for everyone.

    Accomplishments & Achievements

    Spider Rebellion

    The spider rebellion was the most recent existential threat to the empire as a whole as several of the most important market cities threaten to succeed.   Āehēcamalacotl was one of the eight generals - the legs of Lolth - carrying the actions of the rebellion. His most noteworthy adventure was when at this breakout of war: he was on the outskirts of Ocumtit and had to fight and sneak his way to Otoerm Coil and temporarily make common cause with the gardeners.

    Āehēcamalacotl is technically apart of the ancient teek nobility, but grew up impoverished amidst the city nobility. The decline of his people left Āehēcamalacotl with a deep sense of inadequacy. His early years were marred by humiliation and exclusion; and an unrelenting drive to prove his worth.

    Dark Spells

    Āehēcamalacotl’s studies extended beyond approved teachings into the forbidden knowledge of his ancestry.   He mastered a repertoire of salt spells, often involving experimentation with an unstable material, allowed him to create potent and deadly weapons. This earned him a fearsome reputation as a duelist capable of fighting against many high-ranking opponents at once.

    Āehēcamalacotl believed in achieving the greatest good for the greatest number, even if it required questionable actions. This often put him at odds with both allies and enemies, as he prioritized results over tradition or sentimentality.
