Mennith

Center of both the religious and political leadership of the The Grand Duchy, Mennith, or His Lord’s City as it is often called, is the epitome of Mennithite culture. Known for the flowering trees that line its impeccably clean streets, Mennith is arranged in a precise grid of wide boulevards. At their center lies a large, I shaped park with the Grand Temple of Justice at one apex and the Fortress of Truth at the other. Between these lay neat gardens, open lawns, and off course, the crow cages and stocks.

While the daylight hours bring pent of traffic to its streets and markets, ample guards – soldiers of the Archduke, men-at-arms from the various nobility and armed enforcers from the church – ensure that the complex myriad of laws defined as the peace are maintained. Few foreigners, certainly none of non-human descent, grace the city. Those that due are generally under the employ and lose protection of the Merchant's Guild, for despite the difficulties operating in the cradle of Justice imposes, there are great profits to be had. Curfews, varying by moon and even day of the week, are common, and with the exception of the press gangs that roam after dark, the streets remain safe even at the latest hours. No true Mennithite, after all, would be found breaking curfew.
