The head of the church of Mennith has a stern, lean face and hawk-like eyes of golden brown. One could imagine his mouth, perpetually set in the slightest frown, might never speak words of mercy; only the unequivocal harshness of justice. His frame, lean and wiry, does not have the bulk of a career soldier but neither does it have the softness of one who gives in to vices of food or drink. His wardrobe, when no donning the holy vestments of his office, is austere and plain.
Faris has been a devotee to His Lord Mennith since birth and followed the strictures to the letter. Considered a safe choice at the time of his selection, his imagination has no place changing the ways of either the Grand Duchy or the Church. He exercises his leadership with balance, his leadership squarely comfortably between that of the Mennith’s zealots and those that might seek looser strictures in exchange for worldly comforts.
