Rheuthen River
Narrow and fast near its source in the Rheuthengage Mountains, the brook trout and other otters that play in this river either enjoy or have learned to ignore the sulfur-flavor imparted to the water by the Crimson Peak. Further south, past Bentham, the river widens allowing the vast herds of cattle to drink of its waters. The river finally ends at Rivermeet, where it splits into the East and West Forks before reaching the Sea of Storms.
The river is the border between the Principality of Grennig and the The Grand Duchy of His Lord Mennith. Grennig claims its waters and though Mennith patrols are infrequent, they have been known to chase fugitives all the way to the western bank in search of justice.
