Situated just south off the fork in the Rheuthen River, the cobblestone streets Riversmeet sprawls from fork to fork with walls to its south. Its northern and eastern edges are occupied by the mighty Fort Parna which both controls the river crossing and the border with The Grand Duchy of His Lord Mennith. the western shores, however, have no barriers and are littered with docks that serve small, seagoing ships coming up the West Fork from the south and wide, flat rafts that travel the river north to Bentham.
As both the destination of Bentham's gold and a major stop along the Trans-Rheuthengage Highway, the town bustles with two small markets and over a dozen of shops. Several inns service travellers and a number of taverns offer cheap ale for off duty soldiers from the Fort. Visitors generally find that they can find most common goods in these establishments, even if there is but a single vendor for each craft causing prices to be higher than one might expect. Those wishing to try their luck can also gamble away their gold at Kayla's temple and casino, a smaller replica of the Grand Casino in Grennig.
South of the town the ground turns marshy between the Forks and is relatively clear of farms or other structures. To the west, however, farms and pastureland dot the rolling prairie hills for miles, providing food and cloth for townsfolk and for export to the capital.
