Tehrith
Tehrith is a sprawling town full of warehouses, inns, and open farms at the crossroads in a Kingdom at the crossroads. Located at the southern border of the kingdom, on the floodplain between the Lord's River and the River Truth, the town also sits adjacent to the The Grand Duchy of His Lord Mennith, along the Trans-Rheuthengage Highway. This combination – mountains and plains, roads and rivers, Galencian freedom and Mennithite ideals – makes the town one of unexpected characteristics.
Given the distance from Geyla and proximity to the border, the Galencian army is focused primarily on the zealous nation to the south. Given that illicit activities are challenging, to say the least, in Mennith, the Brotherhood of Thieves has a strong presence in the town. For similar reasons, both the Underground Kingdom of the Children of Kharl and Soulmeliti Forests maintain small consulates in the sprawling town. The Merchants' Guild also maintains a large presence, mostly in warehouses, monitoring goods moving south from New Kharolin and New Solarin, through Galencia and north from Eldoria and Grennig through Mennith. Finally, the fertile lands between the river are home to large farms of wheat, making Tehrith the bread basket of Galencia.
