Daphne de Eyres
Captain of Baron Von Sharden’s House Guard
Having fought against stereotypes her entire life, it is no surprise that the lithe Captain of the Guard wears a two-handed flamberge across her back instead of a rapier. With dreadlocks to the middle of her back, chainmail polished to a gleaming silver, and fierce stair, she runs the Von Sharden House guard with an iron first. And even though she has only been on the job for a few winters, it is also no surprise that her Baron’s house has been gaining influence in the house of lords, despite their humble holdings in the northern Rheuthen Basin. Like any good soldier, she says little unless absolutely necessary, but when she does, her strong Phelandrian accent betrays her origin as and begs the question, why would a woman of such talents emigrate to Mennith?
