Kragen River

Fed by Lake Ghendra and countless other Rheuthengage Mountains streams, the pure waters of the Kragen River flow quickly along the first half of its roughly 100 league route into the Gulf of Kharl. Just west of the Drakshal Monastery it opens into a wide, shallow plain before spilling over the 500 foot cliffs on which the monastery rests in tumultuous spray of foam. This “lake” proves home to numerous mountain trout and water birds and is a favorite spot for fishing among the monks, especially in the dark of winter when it frees over.
