Fistch Amphitheater

Fistch Amphitheater , is a long abandoned underwater open air amphitheater once used to hold philosophical and political debates, and give speeches on all manner of topics. The amphitheater is now well passed its prime and its once proud stone benches and columns have been left to crumble and fade into the past. However despite or perhaps because of it's storied past and abandonment the old structure has begun to again see use.  Young merrow scholars from the near by city of Kado have begun to use the old amphitheater as a practice area for their own debates and speeches basking in the sense of import and intensity left behind by the scholars, philosophers, and speakers that went before them. Once again the old structure has begun to fulfill its purpose of shaping ideas and strategies of fostering potentially great minds as it had done in the past, even if now the debates and systems have changed, the core remains the same. New debates have begun ranging from how best to interact with the political systems of the surface dwellers to, imaginative if naïve trade stratagems, the perennial debate of what to have for lunch, and a proving ground for the mustering of the courage required to ask some one out on a date .    The amphitheater now also serves as a place to dodge classes and chores, a zone of peace in an otherwise hectic schedule of classes and expectations that provides a much needed break from the present and a bridge to experience the weight an presence of the past. Fistch amphitheater is a place were the past and present do not collide but rather they mix preserving the tenets of the past while sparking and shaping ideas for what the future could be if one can grab it galvanizing a new generation of merrow philosophers, scholars, politicos, and speakers.
