Summer Pledge
I will be using this summer camp to flesh out my Rpg setting of Pond with particular focus on locations, relics ,and people. I have purposely designed Pond to have a relatively small setting geographically ( it's a very small world) , environmentally (hope you like forests) and conflict scale (groups of bandits not hordes of orcs). I'm also trying to get the world to fell folk/fairy tale ish. Do to the specific scope of the setting being particularly small, it will be interesting to see how I will be able to fit the prompts to the setting. I have a number of existing stubs that need to be expanded and polished and I look forward to crossing them off my list. Hopefully I will also be able to nock out some monster stat blocks as well
Motivation: I want to expand my small scope Rpg setting to make it feel more alive for the initial playtests no matter how far off the path my players wander.
Creative Goal: Expand on the existing setting by
- Adding more relics and artifacts
- Creating new locations and expand on existing ones
- Adding new important characters historical and current
- Expand on existing page stubs.
- Expanse I'll focusing on fleshing out smaller expanses such as particular forests, rivers, swamps ect
- Leadership This should really help me out as I haven't put much thought into this area past adding deities (clerics needed to get spells from somewhere)
- Discovery Discovery is a major part of the setting and I look forward to expanding on what could lurk in the unknown.
- Monstrous Should be fun to add some more stuff to oppose my players. Everyone loves a good cursed item.
