Twigling
Twiglings are small child like creatures. Their bodies are made of clay or mud with numerous twigs and branches sticking out of them. It is unclear weather these creatures are undead or simply fey with an affinity for death and negative energy.
Twiglings lack facial features making it very difficult to determine their intentions unless they make it particularly obvious. They range slightly in high from two to three feet tall and come in a range brown or grey earth colors. When threatened they lass out violently with any branch are stick that is close at hand or by flinging rocks. They also posses minor defensive magic.
Like most fey they enjoy tricks and pranks however they tend to favor destructive pranks such as cutting loose mounts, putting thorns in boots, or poking holes in tents ect. Twiglings also posses a small number of spells that they use to further their destructive pranks, their favorite being ones that spoil food and contaminate water.
While normally hard to track in wet weather twiglings often leave small muddy foot prints. Twiglings also have an odder similar to that of decomposing leaves.
While often solitary twiglings have been known to form gangs of between two and four particularly if they in an area that either ignores their pranks or is not entertaining to them. These gangs result in an escalation in the scope and destructive nature of their pranks, causing them to become not only nuisances but threats. If a twigling dies it leaves behind only a small pile of sticks.
The most unsettling rumors surrounding twiglings is that if enough of them gather in one place and become scared they may join together to become something know as a twiglurk.
