Hobbes

Hobbes (a.k.a. The Free Spirit)

In the year 3E397 Zhizn , vanished from Mir. The sudden absence of her presence was felt through out the realm, and is said to have left a hole in the hearts of men. She had been unable to understand why humans had become so mistrusting of her after the War of Souls. She had defended them and gone to war with Stenok to protect them. Entire lands and regions were lost to the conflict. She had become fed up with not being able to do anything about it, and gave up her Engellic form for that of a mortal, and awaited her rebirth into Mir... to see with eyes unclouded.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

Divine Goals & Aspirations

To see the world of Mir with eye's unclouded. As the knowing incarnation of Zhizn, Hobbes is unique in his perception of the world, holding knowledge that not even he knows how he gained. His lack of explanations for much of his intelligence of the events of ancient history is often looked down upon and has hurt his credibility to those who do not know him well.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

It is unknown where Hobbes calls home or where he hails from, and possibly even to himself as well. When asked questions of his past he typically deflects or responds only in rhyme and riddle and when pressed, will out-right ignore and avoid confrontation all-together.

He was staying around Bliss and The Gap when he met Wee in The Lonely Bard Inn and inevitably helped to form The Grateful Six. In his journey towards founding the free-settlement She'edu, he was captured by the Nation of Thul and taken to Origin with fellow member, Fan. It was here he revealed his true nature to Fan, along with Wee's past & history as well...

In a months time both Hobbes and Fan had been rescued by Wee, who gave pursuit alone, leaving the other three members of the Grateful Six in Advantage to assist in defending the small, war-torn village with Richard Nutter. Upon his arrival and the sacking of Advantage, the group managed to enter into Zjin'au Territory to the south and found She'edu, beginning a new era for the now large exodus from Thul and their subjugation.

Author's Notes

While this character has existed in the Mir and Grateful Six fiction since the very beginning, I only just began to write and flesh him out for the Miracle of Life 2018 competition. The portrait art is not my own and is a placeholder until I am able to commission my own. (DON'T SUE ME PLEASE!!) Also, it's pretty short still because the most important bits I haven't written into the novel yet and spoilers and secrets and stuff.

Unfortunately Hobbes is still kept in secret for the most part until I begin writing the important stuff into my novel. I'd hate to spoil it here before the "big reveal". ahah
