Lands of Eldyr, Valoreum (Val oh ree uhm)

The Twin Continents of Eveynjar and Valoreum, or the Lands of Eldyr, are the lands that spread over the surface of Evenea, only divided by the Dividing Ocean and the Sea of Eternity. These lands are similar to how our world once was, a primal world fraught with danger.
Eveynjar and Valorem are two vastly different sides of Evenea. Valoreum is a land of Dragons, Dinosaurs, and other reptilian beings, while Eveynjar is a land of the mortal races, ancient megafauna, and a host of fantastic beasts.
On the Lands of Eveynjar, lie a world much like Africa and Eurasia, housing all sorts of ecoregions, from mediterranean to monsoon jungle, xeric shrubland to icy tundra. The obvious difference is the inclusion of prehistoric megafauna, mythical beasts, and a plethora of races other than just men.
The Lands of Valoreum are no different, but have no counterpart in our current world. The land is a primeval home of dinosaurs and other beings from the mesozoic period, alongside extinct plants that have no surviving counterparts in our current time.
Between these two are two vast oceans: the Sea of Eternity and the Dividing Ocean. The Dividing Ocean is an ocean that lies on the western edge of Eveynjar and the eastern edge of Valoreum, and is split in its center by a constant jet of steam from the Nethyr below it. Meanwhile the Sea of Eternity lies on the eastern edge of Eveynjar and the western edge of Valoreum and is full of strange life from the seas of the Palaeozoic.

Geography

Valoreum is split into 13 distinct zones, each with their own unique flora, fauna, and Dragon tribe related to it. The Arctyx Ryft, the coldest of the regions, is a land of tundra and boreal forest home to species from northern latitudes during the Cretaceous period and the Dragon Tribe of Ice, the Arctyx.
Below it lies the Chaiyjussian Redwoods, a vast Sequoia Forest home to many species from Laramidia during the Cretaceous period, and the Dragon Tribe of Creation, the Chaiyjus.
To the west of the Redwoods lies the Druimaean Labyrinthine Swamp, a collection of swampy islands and mainland swamps divided by an inland sea. This land is home to creatures found in Laurentia and northern Africa during the Cretaceous, as well as home to the Druimae, the Dragon Tribe of Life.
To the northwest of the swamp lies the Electryllian Steppe, home to creatures from the Cretaceous of Asia as well as the Dragon Tribe of Lightning, the Electryli.
Just over the pond to the Electryllian Steppe lie the Shacken Isles, massive islands housing flora and fauna from South America, India, and Madagascar during the Cretaceous, and home the Dragon Tribe of Shadow, the Shackan.
Below the Electryllian Steppe and to the west of the Druimaean Swamp lies the Lokian Rainforest, a dense Araucarian jungle home to creatures from Asia from the Jurassic Period and the Dragon Tribe of Wind, the Lokians.
To the Southwest of the Rainforest lies a large peninsula covered in dense Conifer jungle with a massive volcano in its center. This region is known as the Draiconian waste, and it is home to creatures found in the Morrison Formation during the Late Jurassic to Early Cretaceous as well as the hot-tempered Draiconians, the Dragon Tribe of Fire.
To the west of the Waste lies an arid desert known as the Lumereallean Scorched Earth, a vast desert that fills the center of the continent, with the only source of water being a river that runs through its center. Creatures here come from the Late Triassic to Early Jurassic of North America, most notably coming from the Kayenta Formation, as well as the Dragon Tribe of Light, the Lumereal.
Within this vast desert lies an oasis at its center, surrounded by the Mountains of Ouroboros. Known as the Oasis of Time, it is represented by creatures from the Mid-Jurassic of North America, as well as the Dragon Tribe of Time, the Kellokians or Sul'bo (Time Flier).
To the southwest of this desert lies a land divided from Valoreum by a great rift valley. A combination of rolling hills, thick riparian jungle, and alpine coniferous forests, it is a rich land home to creatures from the Triassic to Jurassic of South America, as well as the Dragon Tribe of Metal, the Metallurgistian of Metalaidrakken.
To the east of the rift valley lies the Subdrakken Highlands, a mainly alpine open coniferous forest almost entirely surrounded by mountains. It is home to creatures from the Triassic to Jurassic of Africa, Australia, and Antarctica and the Dragon Tribe of Stone, the Subdrakken.
To the northeast of the highlands lies the Drakken Hills, A land dominated by rolling hills, lakes, and braided rivers. This land is home to creatures from the Triassic to Early Jurassic of Eurasia as well as the Dragon Tribe of Earth, the Goldrakken or simply Drakken for short.
To the east of the mainland of Valoreum, a great archipelago lines the Valorian Sea from the tip of the Drakken Hills to the edge of the Chaiyjussian Redwoods. Known as the Olmean Isles, this archipelago is home to creatures from Europe during the Mid-Jurassic to the Cretaceous.
