A form of natural steel found in meteorites, Sky Steel is an incredibly rare and valuable form of iron that naturally possesses alloys with nickel. This natural steel is a huge draw to many blacksmiths, who would drool at the chance of making a blade from the beautiful slightly golden material.

  • Durable I
  • Whenever the item has to make a break item check, it adds 1d4 to the roll.
  • Workable
  • An item made with this material has 1 additional component slot for the purposes of honing or tempering.
  • Highly Magnetic
  • The item moves triple the distance when under the effects of the magnetized condition, deals more 2 times more damage on connect with the target, and the target has disadvantage to remove the target from themselves.
  • Strong
  • Items made of this material have advantage on break item checks.
  • Dense
  • Items take 2x longer to craft and items made of this material weigh twice as much.
  • Bludgeoning Weapons made of the material deal +2 damage
  • Conductive
  • While wielded, lightning spells or attacks are used while within 30 ft of the wielder, the spells or attacks have disadvantage to hit other targets and advantage to hit the wielder.
  • Thermally Conductive
  • Any item made of this material heats up quickly. Armor and Weapons double the amount of fire damage the wielder takes or deals physically.
  • Nickel Allergy
  • There is a 1% chance that a humanoid target is allergic to this material. On contact, the target takes 1d4 poison damage.
  • Heavenly Might
  • An item made of this material has +2 to attack and damage rolls or to AC if enchanted by Light, Shadow, Dark, or Wind magic.
  • Spellcasters have a +2 to spell attack and damage rolls.
