A rare bluish-gray metal, Cobalt is named after the the fae that use it most, Kobolds. While refining the material, Cobalt releases an incredibly toxic vapor that most creatures find deadly. Surprisingly, Kobolds seem rather immune to this vapor. Cobalt itself is often used for alloys and pigments, making a blue pigment often called Kobold Blue.
