The Gods of Dálnaes
in DálnaesThere are three ranks of gods. Major gods are the Seven Dreams and those gods directly descended from them who have powerful domains of influence. Minor gods are those who have secondary domains, or who are part of a set of gods who govern a powerful domain, such as the Four Seasons. The final type of gods are archons. Archons are immortals who came into being accidentally or without clear origin, when other immortal powers clashed so powerfully that a new being was created. Archons are very powerful on their own, and that power can be fueled further by strong mortal belief. The best example of an archon is Zephyrus, the God of War. During times of war in the Mortal Realm, his power can grow to rival any of the Seven Dreams.
Circle of Ímlæs
Thirteen gods make up the Ímlæn Circle, that serves as the "court" of the gods. Along with Malorel and the Seven Dreams, there are five other gods whose domains encompass powerful aspects of mortal life. All members of the Circle are major gods or archons. The Circle is represented by a circle with thirteen points on it or a wheel with thirteen sections.
