Thegus, God of the Earth

"Stand firm as the ground beneath your feet. Stand tall as the mountains that pierce the sky. Stand steadfast as the stone that resists the beat of wind and rain."
— edict engraved over the door of temples to Thegus

The god of the land itself, he is the Third Dream of Malorel and a member of the Circle of Ímlæs. He governs the tenth month of the year, Cyr, when the harvest moon is dominant.

Beyond his original role in creating the world, Thegus has had little to do with what has happened on it since. Few worship him specifically, and those that do are mostly stonemasons or miners that pray for steady hands and earth while they work. Thegus takes the form of a large stone man. He has no sacred creators, but there are legends of sentient stone golems that live deep in the mountains and underground.
