Graegus, the Dragon King Character in Dálnaes | World Anvil

Graegus, the Dragon King

Once a mortal creature, Graegus was offered immortality upon his death for his efforts to preserve and protect Drakala's domain. Known as Graegus the Eclipser, he was over 2,000 years and so large that his huge gray wings blocked out the sun when he flew. He sired hundreds of dragons, including Ochros, the Dragon Prince, and now serves Zephyrus as a mount and battle companion.

As a mortal elevated to divinity, Graegus is a minor god with few followers outside of his own kind. To humans and other sentient races, he is more a figure of legend than a god. Even to dragons, he isn't truly their god. Dragons bow first and foremost to Drakala, but they do give reverence to the one who was once their king.
