The longest journey - Chapter three
Each month will have a new prompt for you, and while you can certainly connect all five of them to form a coherent story, you don’t have to! Single articles work just as well.
If you want to skip a month because the prompt isn’t to your liking, just wait a month and rejoin our journey at a later point.

Chapter Three
Wonders of the world
Write about..
A natural or cultural wonder you might encounter on your travels
Is it an ancient tree, standing watch since the beginnings of time? Is it a wild and untamed waterfall? A giant statue or building errected by a forgotten people? A stellar nursery or a nebula of uncomprehensible beauty? Maybe a quiet place of tranquility within an urban sprawl or something entirely different - whatever it is, write about it.
The Vikramaditya, battered and damaged, emerged from the storm. As the last lightning dissipated from its blackened hull, all grew quiet on the bridge. Before them, a breathtaking sight unfolded. Within the abyss, a symphony of light and color danced across the dark. A dying star, its core exhausted and torn, cast off its outer layers, remnants of a supernova that occurred millennia ago. A nebula, born from the star's demise, shimmered with iridescent hues, its delicate filaments stretching across the void, vapors of color stretching out into the void.
As the sun began to rise, casting a golden glow over the cliffs, Tariq emerged from the treacherous pass. Before him, the pass gave way to an ocean of fire: a vast expanse of dunes, their crests bathed in the sun's first rays, stretching as far as the eye could see. Tariq, filled with a sense of wonder, jumped down from his camel and walked barefoot across the soft sand, leaving behind a trail of footprints that would soon be erased by the wind.
Catlyn wandered through the labyrinthine streets, a maze of neon-lit alleyways. Her eyes were drawn to the towering structure of chrome and iridescent glasst that pierced the skyline. The Grand Tower, lauded as one of the six new world wonders, soared towards the heavens, its iridescent skin shimmering under the city's perpetual twilight.
Oh, I like this one a lot! I will have to think about it for my journey.
Glad to have you back :)
Sit down, my friend, and let me tell you of Aran'sha . A world where the sands shift and the stars sing, where the wind carries secrets and the twin moons keep silent vigil over it all.
