Securer Special Responders Military Formation in The Kaleidoscope System | World Anvil

Securer Special Responders

Table of Contents
The Rorepruta Uda are an exceptionally experienced subset of the Executive Securer Division.

Composition

Manpower

A district's Rorepruta Uda unit includes up to 16 Regular Securers (gotu), of whom at least 8 are ready to be deployed at any given time. Every specialized section of the Securer Force is represented in similar numbers so that the unit as a whole can draw from their combined skillset.

Structure

The unit is under the direct command of the Executive Securer Chief and the Executive Securer Commander. These two positions are commonly held by current or former Special Responders, since they are also expected to lead this unit during missions.

Tactics

The main strength of this unit lies in the diverse, highly specialized skillsets of their members, each of whom have proven themselves to be the best of their district. Depending on the nature of a mission, teams are composed of those gotu whose skills complement each other to account for all of the expected challenges. Additionally, every single section has to be represented so that the team can deal better with unexpected events.   Example tasks for the different sections include but are not limited to:
  • Combat Section (mitgu ifegmami): disabling attackers, disrupting enemy infrastructure
  • Traffic Section (mitgu vumpami): air support, vehicle-to-vehicle combat
  • Order Section (mitgu tagmefomi ): negotiating with hostage takers, taking care of traumatized victims
  • Disaster Section (mitgu guami ): defusing bombs, neutralizing chemical or biological weapons
  • etc.

    Logistics

    Auxilia

Like every active Securer unit, the Special Responders are supported by the Danokon Division both for planning the missions and for real-time strategic information. When additional stealth is required, every team member is equipped with a local, minimal variant of the real Danokon system, trading the more comprehensive data analysis for reduced radio communication.   Depending on the mission, they are sometimes accompanied by groups of regular gotu who follow after the Rorepruta Uda have cleared the path, or provide additional manpower which is coordinated by the elite team.

    Recruitment

Gotu who have reached a certain level of experience and demonstrated outstanding skill are recommended for this unit by their sections's leader. The Executive Securer Chief and their second-in-command review these recommendations together with the Organizational Securer Chief, and if they approve, the gotu in question is invited to a more thorough analysis of their qualifications. This includes rigorous tests of their agility, their physical and psychological endurance, their weapon and piloting skills and assessments of any specialized skills they acquired so far.   If the gotu passes all tests, they are promoted to the Rorepruta Uda and begin training with their new unit. From this point on, they undergo regular assessments to ensure that they are up to the unit's high standards and ready to go on actual missions.

Special forces in a science fantasy world! Now that is something I love! I love the conlang so much! Honestly, the Kaleidoscope system may be slowly becoming one of my most favourite science fantasy worlds here on world anvil and every passing day, I love how you build these prompts! Sorry if I sound dumb and am fangirling too much!   Overall I just find this article amazing and beautifully done. The conlanging and the links are so useful in grabbing someone’s interest in this world! I really don’t want to sound repetitive but those combined with your easy to understand prose and information, makes this article an amazing read!   I did have a few questions this time though! Hopefully they are at least somewhat helpful   1) What equipment do they use? What about equipment of the different classes? ( you can leave this out if you think this might adversely effect the article   2) Are there any cultural practices associated with them? Anything they have invented that has entered mainstream culture or not?   3) What is it like being a securer? What’s the pay, job experience and everything else like?   4) Who are some famous secures?   Of course, these questions are more suited for the organisation template so you can ignore my feedback here. But I just seriously love this article and world so much! Congrats and keep up the amazing work!

Thank you very much, I'm really happy that you like this world! <3   And thank you for the feedback, those are some very good questions! Yes, I suppose the answers will go into different articles when I have them figured out, for example articles dedicated to the different sections.   1) I plan to write articles for a number of equipment items. A lot of that is still early ideas, but there is the Securer raygun which is mounted on the dominant wrist, and a special power armor which not only protects the person in various ways, but also serves to amplify their strength in situations when natural muscle mass is not enough. I guess there will also be special types of aircraft, hacking devices and various defensive gadgets.   2) Hmm, off the top of my head I'd say training routines and dietary plans may have spread to mainstream. I can picture advertisements saying "get built like a Securer in 128 days" or something like that. And yeah, kids probably like to dress up and play Securer versus bad guys.   3) I havent' worked out the monetary system yet, but I'd say the pay is quite good because they have a lot of responsibility and can get into very stressful and dangerous situations. Teams are rather close-knit, especially when they have already been through tough missions together. Also, they usually enjoy a great reputation among the lawful population.   4) I intend to write character articles for the Special Responders of Western Redo-Iv, and I've already got an article about this district's Executive Chief: Il-Arka Arka's second-in-command, An-Loma, will probably be up next.   Again, thank you for the feedback - it will definitely help with my work here! :)
