Mushussu

Represented on the crest of the Ahsweyj national guard, the Mushussu was known as a guardian and companion to ancient warriors.  It is one of the longest lived species of lesser dragons, and it is the most loyal as well.  Resembling a small horse more than a conventional dragon, this graceful, long-legged creature is a favorite among dragon raisers.
