All Hail Yog

All Hail Yog (2018 – ?) is an actual play evil campaign and a ProDM Production. Set in the Fourth Age of Ondûn, it is the first campaign set in Ondûn, though chronologically it is the last campaign set in Ondûn. All Hail Yog is directed, produced and Dungeon Mastered by Timothy Meyer of ProDM.   While All Hail Yog originally aired as weekly podcast, the coronavirus pandemic has put the show on indefinite hiatus since June 2020.

Premise

In All Hail Yog, a rotating cast of characters play as the fell servants of Yog, assembled to the Elder Evil's nefarious plans upon the unhappy world. As the Fourth Age draws to a close, Yog makes one final bid to escape its earthly bonds and destroy Ondûn in the process – aided and abetted by the world's worst villains.

Cast & Characters

  • Kate Enge as Agnoment: A fallen angel, Agnoment works for Yog in an attempt to shake the faithful from their apathy. Enge cites Tilda Swinton's character "Gabriel" in the 2005 Constantine film as her primary inspiration. (Kate also voiced Zyzzenxkys in The Heroes.)
  • Heather Lore as Desdemonia: A seductive succubus, Desdemonia is one of Yog's most skilled infiltrators and assassins, who delights in the mischief she causes.
  • Cody Bushee as Dr. Hughbert / Alizabeth: A mad artificer, Dr. Hughbert Hilkington is always accompanied both by his insane magical contraptions and his lumbering flesh golem, stitched together from the remains of his dead wife Alizabeth. Bushee cited Back to the Future's Doc Brown and Overwatch's Junkrat as inspirations.
  • Paul Vonasek as Erick Idylvain: A weak and feeble man, Erick Idylvain was cursed by Yog to transform into a ravenous killing machine – an unstoppable gargoyle. Vonasek took inspiration from X-Men's Sauron for his character.
  • Allen Walton as Ernst: An undead designer, Ernst is a lich in service to Yog, the business magnate of his own avant-garde fashion line. A fan favorite, Walton describes Ernst as a combination between "Mugatu, NoHo Hank and Skeletor".
  • Emily Rose as Narcinae Barrityl: A drow warlock, Narcinae is an accomplished witch and socialite who sacirifced her eye for her sorcerous powers. Jacobson characterizes her as an "evil Mary Poppins".
  • Megan Captaine as Skoura: A ravenous white dragon, Skoura is notable for her melanistic complexion and – later – her gruesome mechanical wing. Captaine has professedly always wanted to play a dragon in D&D and was delighted to finally be given a chance.
  • Hallie Clawson as Phantasmagoria: A fiendish opera composer, Phantasmagoria is a larger-than-life diva that magically changes costumes with every appearance. Phantasmagoria is Phantom of the Opera-pastiche.
  • Steven Molony as Azathomet: The first Marked of Yog and Ondûn's first vampire, Azathomet is positively ancient by the time of the campaign, reduced to a wall-crawling nosferatu. Molony intentionally created an anti-Dracula character for his vampire, with no sex appeal and no redeeming social graces.
  • Matthew Pitner as Raelas the Stalker: An exiled elven hunter, Raelas was cursed when he slew a unicorn and only Yog provides him the relief he needs from the constant pain. Pitner cited an obscure short story called The Unicorn Hunter as his inspiration for the character.
  • Aliza Pearl as Smuj: An amorphous blob of living poison, Smuj is actually a tiny fragment of Yog's essence that longs ever to be reunited with Its master. When brainstorming the character concept, all Pearl could think of was a cloud of poisonous gas, which she and Meyer eventually workshopped into Smuj.
  • Dan Glaser as Xosh: A mind flayer, Xosh serves Yog reluctantly, for Its true master is Hadar the Hungerer, a rival Elder Evil from another dimension. A devoted H.P. Lovecraft enthusiast, Glaser also took inspiration from the 1997 Starship Troopers film.
