The Child – Episode 1

The villains gather.

A fallen angel preached to a gathering of devotees. A devil murdered the knights sent to slay her. A doctor shared a romantic meal with the wife he made. An abomination slaughtered the angry mob that hounded it. One by one, all four of these villains were drawn from their scattered corners of the world and appear, in four columns of black flame, in the Spires of Yog, in the heart of Yogoth and kneel before the Vessel of Yog .
The moment he arrived, Erick threw himself to the ground in worship before the Vessel, awaiting the coming of his master. Desdemonia rilled at the sight of an angel in this profane place and began immediately to antagonize them but Agnoment had little patience for her, ignoring the succubus completely. Dr. Hughbert, however, got chummy with the Vessel, despite all the nameless wizard’s weakened begging to be set free.
Shortly thereafter, however, Yog made Its entrance. Taking possession of the Vessel, It spoke to those it had summoned in its eerie voice and laid, in no uncertain terms, a task before them.
“THERE IS A CHILD. A PRINCESS AMONG THE WOOD ELVES. YOU WILL BRING HER TO ME – ALIVE AND UNSPOILED.”
