The Kaeslaran Dominion
The Kaeslaran dominion is one of the biggest governments on Laeriss, if not the biggest government on Laeriss. Its capital and base of all government is the city of Kemler, called the capital of the world for its gargantuan population. The dominion is mostly located around central Laeriss, covering all of Kaelia and Dirn as well as parts of Rena, not counting the city of Oarilī. The Kaeslaran dominion is also known for its very proficient trading, as they connect the left and right sides of Laeriss and have some of the best built trade roads in the world. The dominion is ruled by King Marius and the council of Kemler, who vote on laws which can affect single towns to the entire country.
Structure
The King: The king (King Marius) is the ruler of the dominion, they have power to change any law for a short period of time, wage war, make peace, or imprison anybody who they so chose.
The Council: The council of the dominion is located in the city of Kemler, the council has twenty five members who vote on bills, voted in by other council members, (except for sanctum mayors voted in by representatives)
Common Representatives: Common representatives are the people who vote on sanctum representatives, they are the one of the only members of the Kaeslaran government who are voted on by the people.
County Governors: The county governors have relatively little power and usually just act as informants for the council and enforcers of laws in their towns and areas of land, though they have no law making power of their own. They are essentially sheriffs voted on by the people.

Public Agenda
The goal of the Kaeslaran dominion is to expand and get more people under the rule of the king. Much like any nation they want to gain more wealth and increase the quality of life for the people. Though much of their expansion is out of desire for power and by orders of the high classes who benefit most, they are not any more corrupt than most other countries.
Assets
The Kaeslaran dominion is a bit above average in terms of its assets and wealth. The dominion is very varied in its assets, having many towns, a massive army, a few airships, and much gold, silver, platinum, and gemstones stored away.
History
The dominion was originally created by humans who called themselves the Kaeens, after the name of a group of people who sacrificed themselves to allow them to escape from a life of servitude. They ended up creating the city of Kemler and since then only grew in population, size, and power.
Demography and Population
The Kaeslaran dominion is the most highly populated of the countries on Laeriss. It is home to a majority of all the humans on Laeriss but also includes hundreds of thousands of halflings, gnomes, and sometimes Dwarves or wood Elves. The estimated population of the country, primarily counting people in large and small established settlements, adds up to nearly forty million people.
Territories
The areas which are held by the Kaeslaran dominion are located almost entirely in what is considered the central area of Laeriss. All of Kaelia and Dirn are owned by the dominion, giving them control of the entire Teriat river. Most parts of the left side of Rena are considered to be owned by the dominion as well, since they are sparsely populated anyways, though the city of Oarilī is considered its own nation. Though fights over control of parts of Derolis and Quarillis are ongoing with the Kaeslaran dominion at the forefront.
Military
The military of the Kaeslaran dominion is quite powerful and the strongest on Laeriss in terms of numbers and resources. There are approximately 300,000 estimated normal soldiers, 20,000 specialized fighters, 500 knights, 16 champions, and 8 generals. In the royal sanctum of the capital city, Kemler large amounts of gold and resources are stored away for use in war times.
Technological Level
The technology of the Kaeslaran dominion is considered to be about middle ground technology, while it is not incredibly advanced in many ways there are certain technologies which it has attained and uses. With Kemler being the biggest city in the world many innovators live within its walls. Kemler's walls have many cannons built into them. Arrows and special cannon balls are made and stored on the walls, these pieces of ammunition contain a technology called a Pinksoot capsule. These capsules can have a variety of affects and their contents linger in the air in the form of a dust cloud wherever they were originally dispersed.
Religion
In the Kaeslaran dominion most religions and gods are free to practice and worship but even they have a few gods which are forbidden. The gods Certak, Darrünn, Vixera and Narstes are considered the most evil of the gods and are illegal to worship or gain power from. The most commonly worshipped gods are those of The celestial order, aka. Padalor, Lenesel, Ktuywayit, Mornada, and Vallusios.
Agriculture & Industry
The main form of industry which the Kaeslaran dominion relies on is its farming and mass grain production, as well as extensive husbandry. Since central Laeriss is very fertile the Kaeslaran dominion almost completely relies on agriculture for its wealth. Though many talented artisans and architects live in the larger city's who rely on the trade preformed by the dominion to produce new valuable goods to be exported.
Trade & Transport
The Kaeslaran dominion is extremely proficient in trade, in order to transport the many things which they export and import, roads are built and maintained all over the country to allow for easier travel. While Airships are very expensive and rare, occasionally they will also be used for mass transport of goods and people.
Education
In most of the small towns across the dominion people are fairly low class and do not receive much of an education outside of folk knowledge and the few books they have. Most of the education in these towns comes from local churches who give a basic education to the children, though it varies between how wealthy the town is. In Kemler the education of people is varied, in certain areas many are uneducated while in others nobles receive advanced educations, though Kemler has a statistically high quality education average compared to the rest of Laeriss.
Infrastructure
As one of the largest governments on Laeriss, the dominion has a large amount of infrastructure built over the years. The walls of the city of Kemler are impressive and strong. Many small towns are dotted all across the dominion as well but the most notable piece of infrastructure built, and the most expensive one in the world, is the giant Teriat Canal. The roads of the dominion are also well defined and kept in good condition. The Drop sewers of Kemler were another large project funded by the dominion.

The official currency is: one platinum piece is ten gold pieces, one gold piece is ten silver pieces, one silver piece is ten copper pieces. Each piece is a small coin with a special stamp and very slight enchantment.
Major Exports
The dominion mostly is known for its crop and lumber exports. On The Kaelian plains sprawling farms create huge amounts of food and animal products, in the Derinian woodlands huge amounts of usable lumber are available for the dominion to export.
Major Imports
The dominion imports quite a large variety of things not commonly found in central Laeriss. Metals, gemstones and magical materials are rare in the territories of the dominion and are exported from the Zerion Mountains, none of which are controlled by the dominion. Many plants, furs, and animals with useful parts are also exclusive to other parts of the world.
Legislative Body
The entire legislative body of the Kaeslaran dominion resides in the city of Kemler. They are voted on by the council of voters and not the people, but the people campaign for the candidates they want. Each voter can vote on bills which affect either all of the dominion or only a certain province.
Judicial Body
The judicial body of the dominion is made up of the king and twelve hand picked members, chosen by the king and his advisors. As with the legislative body, people will campaign for their preferred court members.
