Kaelia

The center-most and largest of the floating continents of Lariss, it contains the largest city in the world. Kemler contains a huge amount of the Laeran population and the The Kaeslaran Dominion based in Kemler controls the entire continent. The Teriat river runs through the middle of the continent, connected to its source on the continent of Dirn by the Teriat Canal.

Geography

The continent is mostly flat, having the majority of the land be covered by The Kaelian plains. Though to the north the Zierak hills also lie as well as the solitary Panda mountain. The giant Teriat river runs through the entire continent stretching from the southeast edge all the way to the northwestern area.

Fauna & Flora

The most common types of flora and fauna found within the continent of Kaelia are small grassland-dwelling animals such as hares, moles, birds, and a plethora of grazing animals. Common trees occasionally dot the land but they are quite sparse except for in certain areas of the continent. The Teriat river also contains many different types of freshwater fish and crustaceans.

Natural Resources

Kaelia is incredibly rich in farmable land and rich soil. As the continent is known for the extensive farming done on it. Many valuable farm animals also roam the continent as well as the Teriat river, being possibly the most valuable source of water on Laeriss. The Zierak hills are especially rich in their large population of sheep and rams.
