Panda mountain
The Panda mountain is and was the home of most of the population of the Panda People. Life on the mountain was prosperous and peaceful until The shadow legion attacked, killing the leader of the Panda People, Kwun Yin and leaving only the Panda Person Chunk Jin remaining. The mountain is enchanted to be an oasis of subtropical life on the continent of Kaelia by the god Lenesel. In this experiment of hers she also used the life energy from the surrounding land to enchant the mountain, creating the desolate Saxan desert.
Geography
Panda mountain is a quite steep, but not particularly tall mountain. It is surrounded on all sides by the Saxan desert and it does not have any river feeding it. Though there is water which stems from inside the mountain and rain which often falls, caused by the magic of Lenesel.
Fauna & Flora
The panda mountain is quite rich in life, many subtropical and warm climate plants reside all over the mountain. Bamboo grows in abundance, and thousands of animals reside on the great mountainside. Hundreds of birds live in the tall trees. In the clear ponds are colorful fish. Animals not seen anywhere else roam the land, feeding off the abundance provided by Lenesel. One of these creatures was originally the panda, before they were transformed by the magic of Lenesel, again, into a sentient race of Panda People.
Natural Resources
The panda mountain is rich in life not found anywhere else on Laeriss. The strange and exotic things which live on the mountain can be sold to the wealthy, often used as decorations for their homes or as exhibits. Many believe the water has healing powers much like the water of the Sacred River and will pay a fine amount of gold and silver to buy it. While bamboo is abundant all over the mountain it is not found on many other locations on Laeriss so many will also pay for the bamboo to use it as a material for building fancy rooms or houses.
