Airships

Airships were a technology created after The Solstice of Shadows by the dragon born of Zaquii. They made their way to the rest of the Laeran world through the famous ship known as the Skyrider which came from Zaquii, was crashed into the Ivory Forest on the continent of Tonkir and then discovered by Nelleidis J. Deloriia and a few others. Nelleidis is the most important though as he patented the technology of airships, bringing them to the rest of Laeriss but never discovered the arcane flux protection technologies of the dragon born ships because that when the ship was flown out of Zaquii it was not equipped with the proper protection, therefore causing it to crash into the Ivory Forest.

Utility

They are used for transporting cargo most of the time but sometimes will be used by the rich and wealthy for travel, few beings other than kings own personal airships though.

Manufacturing

They are all manufactured by Nelleidis J. Deloriia in Frostlance or many places in Zaquii. Their unauthorized manufacture is illegal outside of Zaquii and only Xports incorporated (owned by Nelleidis) is allowed to make them.
Inventor(s)
The dragon born were the original inventors (though it is not sure who exactly) but outside of Zaquii most people consider the inventor to be Nelleidis J. Deloriia even though it is widely known he did not technically invent them.
Access & Availability
Outside of Zaquii airships are usually only flown by the high elite since there are not many in existence and they are very costly.
Complexity
Airships are an incredibly complex technology, they are built with much consideration into the intricacies of aerodynamics, magical technology, and their psychical durability.
Discovery
It was originally discovered by the dragon born of Zaquii when they were experimenting with Averiine created by The World Core after the split.
