Fodon

Fodon is a small farming town on the Teriat river. While their main job is to grow food like grain and vegetables, Fodon also regulates and cleans the water of the Teriat river before it reaches Kemler. The town also contains watermills using the flow of the river. Though it is quite a small town it is very peaceful and while the people are hardworking folk.

Demographics

Fodon mostly consists of human workers, occasionally halflings and the rare Dwarf or gnome can also be found within the town.

Government

Much like the rest of the Kaeslaran towns, Fodon has a mayor but they do not have much lawmaking power, only enforcing the rules and informing the decision making body of The Kaeslaran Dominion up in Kemler.

Defences

The town of Fodon has short stone walls which partially surround most of the town. Four towers with guards are also located just in case of an attack.

Industry & Trade

Fodon almost completely relies on trading food to make its gold. But it is also their responsibility to make sure that the Teriat river stays clean and is not contaminated.

Infrastructure

Fodon is home to many watermills built all across the Teriat river, these watermills are also specially built and have minor enchantments to purify the water.

Assets

The main assets of Fodon are its watermills, and many farms. Large stockpiles of grain are also held in the town in wait for when they can be traded via Xports incorporated.

History

Fodon was founded many years ago as just a small farming town, it has not grown a lot since then but has managed to hold its own over the course of many years.

Architecture

Fodon has simple but pleasant architecture. Wooden buildings with stone bricks and brick roofs make up most of the town. Often what little paint can be found within Fodon is used to paint their doors and signs.

Geography

Fodon is built next to the Teriat river on The Kaelian plains. The land is very flat and fertile and the river provides a very reliable source of water.

Natural Resources

The town of Fodon and surrounding areas are rich in farmable land. The Teriat river is also very valuable in itself, being required to supply water to Kaelia.
