The Royal House of Kaevil

The House of Kaevil, destined to become the royal house of the land, was originally a cadet branch of House Caervil that grew in importance and influence through a combination of good leadership and good fortune.
Renowned leaders of this House were among the foremost fighters against the Trolls who plagued the land and more than once led the battle against these creatures and similar dark beings whose existence is now relegated into myth and legend.
By the year 650 the House was in a strong enough position to declare its independence from House Caervil and declare its primacy. By 659 they were powerful enough to establish themselves as a royal line with authority over the other Houses who benefited from their prowess and power.
