Sialvanna of Greendale, Queen of Kaevil
Sialvanna
Sialvanna was the daughter of Lord Mandoran, lord of a small holding and keep in Greendale. She accompanied Mandoran to the Royal Court in Sildern in 714 and became lady-in-waiting to Queen Marellan. There she came to the attention of the young Prince Arthindon who was bewitched by her beauty and her wit. In the fullness of time they began courting and, after seeking the permission of Lord Mandoran (which was freely given) they were married in 716 shortly before the death of Arthindon I and her husband's coronation. Although younger than her husband, she was always considered the wiser and more level-headed of the two. Indeed Arthindon is reported as once having confided in a council-member that "Of all the many voices giving counsel, the only one I trust to speak unvarnished truth is hers."
