Arthindon II
Third King of The Royal House of Kaevil, husband of Queen Sialvanna
He was not considered a good king, being too easily swayed by the cleverly framed arguments of others. His reign was plagued by a series of diplomatic complications, most of them caused by the king bending to the will of various factions and cliques in turn. He was particularly susceptible to influence from House Caervil, and by a particularly politically ambitious priest of The High Father named Cedricas
Despite his flaws, Arthindon II was at heart a good man and many of his problems stemmed from his desire to please as many people as possible, and a reluctance to face confrontations early enough. He was devoted to his wife Sialvanna and maintained an estate in Greendale in which he and his wife spent at least one month a year so she could be closer to her family.
His reign was characterised by strife and discontent between various of the other Houses as, lacking strong guidance and clear judgements, old disputes and ambitions began to resurface.
