The Street, Count's Yardham
From the North Gate to the South Gate, The Street is the main thoroughfare of the town.
From the North Gate , The Street initially skirts the wall of the Manor's North Enclosure, Passes the Manor's Town Gate (opposite Back Lane) and then opens out into the Marketplace below the Manor House proper. As the Market narrows at the south end of Back Lane, The Street continues past the Manor's South Enclosure - far enough from the wall that the land between is occupied by some townsfolk's plots - until it reaches the exit through the town fence at the South Gate.
