The Middle Gate, Manor House, Count's Yardham is a building that divides the North Enclosure from the South Enclosure.

Gatehouse to the South Enclosure of the Manor House, Count's Yardham.
Architecture
The Middle Gate consists of a fortified connection between the two outer halves of the Manor House's grounds. It is constructed in stone, with the outer wall and the wall facing the North Enclosure both more than five paces thick.
The gate, itself, is narrow. It is not accessible to farm carts or wagons and is wide enough for a single rider at a time.
There is a water-filled pit before the gate, covered by a draw-bridge, an iron port-cullis and a the main door - made (double-planked) of surdy Oak and studded with iron.
