Old Mill Lane, Count's Yardham

Old Mill Lane is a byway outside the town walls of Count's Yardham, about half-a-mile from the North Gate. It runs from The Street towards the river and the Old Mill.

Purpose / Function

This is a wagon-track from The Street, Count's Yardham to access the Old Mill. This is heavily used during the Harvest and immediately thereafter.

Architecture

The track is mostly unpaved, but has been improved in places to ensure wagons don't get stuck too often when the weather is particularly wet.
