Sluice Mill
At the end of Sluice Lane, Count's Yardham, by the sluice and under the wall of the Manor House's South Enclosure.
Purpose / Function
The mill has two purposes - one pair of stones are set up as a grist mill and one single stone runs in a track as a press-mill.
Architecture
The first yard of the walls of the buildings on this plot are of stone, and the higher parts of the building are of wooden construction.
History
The mill was constructed when the river was damed to provide a more extensive moat for the eastern side of the town.
