Aiekin's Smithy

Aiekin's Smithy sits to the north of the north end of Back Lane on The Street. It is the first shop passed as visitors enter the town from the North Gate.

It is on the opposite corner of Back Lane to the Golden Elf Tavern and directly opposite the entrance-gate to the Manor House.

Residents

The family and household of Aiekin the Smith live on the premises. The Journeymen and Apprentices are accompanying the Count of Herrir on campaign - and as a consequence, the smithing work is slower than it might otherwise be.

Purpose / Function

Aiekin's Smithy is a blacksmith's forge.

Architecture

Aiekin's Smithy is a collection of buildings: A Residence, separate kitchen and separate forge. The entire complex is founded with stone with oaken construction in the Gondorian style, infilled with lath and plaster. The roof of the smithy and kitchen are tiled.
