Tapestry Maker's Workshop
This property is on the south side of Back Lane on the southern junction with The Street.
Purpose / Function
This is both the residence and workshop of a Tapestry Maker.
Although called a Tapestry Maker, the craftsman acts as a general embroiderer for the local clothing styles; makes livery and banners for the Count of Herrir's retainers; and has a side-line in down-filled pillows and covers for those cold winters nights.
Architecture
The top floor has large, south-facing windows that maximise the light (shuttered when not in use) and contains the workshop for the detailed embroidery stage.
