Potential Allies to the Court of the King in Exile

• Haven's Port
  • Governor Trentan Algood has alluded to being able to provide a fleet to transport the Court and their allies to The Continent of Greland when the time comes, but what he wants in exchange will vary depending on how big the fleet needs to be and what manner of vessels are needed - return to him when the forces being ferried to Greland are known, and he'll set his price then.
  • The Governor is interested in securing safer passage between Amoth and the rest of the world - The Roil threaten passage around Blackfyre Gulf, but that is the only way to reach The Continent of Igend and the other continents, as the ability to cross the open ocean is impossible currently, since The Mirror Sea's centuries-long becalming has only recently been broken, and the technology to navigate the open ocean has never been needed in Amoth before.

• Blackwatch Point
  • ser Kedrick Brightborn wants to work with Ashtin, and would be willing to pledge some part of the enkindled to the King's cause if two requirements are met:
    1. Make some significant dent on the various raiders, pillagers, mercenaries and pirates predating the The Aura of The Black Sun.
    2. Break all ties between the Court and any Shadebound, including The Devourer.

• The Church of The Black Sun
  • Lorgan the Deathless has some sort of understanding with King Dalran Somercrag, and does not seem to want anything of the Court other than their alliance.
  • The Devourer has killed Lorgan, and now seems to have some sway over most of the Shadebound in Tollingbell. If it has demands to make of the Court, or aid to offer, those things have not yet been revealed.

• The Allenian Armed Forces have some sort of arrangement brokered by ser Mitchar Hespeak. It seems to involve the betrothal of Princess Edwina VI Allencourt to King Dalran Somercrag in exchange for the service of the 1st Royal Expeditionary Group and The Third Flotilla of the Allenian Royal Fleet, but some further investigation may be warranted.

• Thegnsfall
  • Dhag Wode, an Yrrchsblood chieftain of the people in Thegnsfall has given Ashtin a Blackstone Dagger as some kind of message for King Dalran. It relates to some ancient arrangement with House Somercrag of Bayglen. Hopefully the King will understand it better.

• The Roost is a settlement along the coast North of Thegnsfall.
  • "Lord" Corren's Basilisk flock has been decimated by an Yrrchish hunting party come down from The Northern Spine. He'll bring his people and his last clutch of hatchlings to the King's cause if Ashtin punishes the Yrrch for their transgressions. With Ashtin's support for the Yrrch, Corren has withdrawn his support, but there may yet be a way to secure the hatchlings.
  • A small band of Yrrch bison herders have driven their herd down from the foothills of the Northern Spine, but suffered great losses on their first encounter with the Basilisks. They have agreed to take up the King's cause and rebuild their lives in The Continent of Greland.

• Exodus is a settlement along the coast North of The Roost and is the nearest point to The Continent of Igend. It has not yet been contacted, although Ashtin has been as close as a siege camp outside the walls.

• There are rumours of An Organised Force gathering within the shadow of The Black Sun, with all those they encounter either being joined to their ranks or destroyed. Whether this force could be made an ally, or their destruction used to curry favour with another faction, or indeed if they exist at all, is not yet clear.

• The Roil are a large pirate fleet operating under the Black Sun. They are the only other fleet aside from Haven's Port who might have the numbers to carry the Court to Greland. If they cannot be made allies, it may be necessary to deal with them somehow to secure safe passage.

• The Yrrch may have something to offer the Court, certainly they would be devastating in the field against the Knights of Somercrag, but they are by nature a secretive folk.
  • The Yrrch of the Northern Spine
    • The Yrrch of the Northern Spine will gladly leave Amoth if they can be released from an ancient vow To Find The Last Offspring of The Great Beast That Formed Amoth.
