• Aline Troter, head of a nomadic Caravan of cattle-drivers in Baycotte who have occasionally sheltered and traded with Sigrid during her wanderings.

• Todd Ashwood, Sigrid's younger brother. As a child Todd was bound for The Spire until Sigrid had a Dream that compelled her to beg her mother, Shennen Ashwood, to cancel the plans. She succeeded in preventing Todd from being sent to the spire, but was banished from her home in Timberreach in response to her strange dreams. Years later, when Sigrid returned to warn her mother of the impending floods coming to claim Timberreach, Todd decided to leave home and follow his sister into the wilds of The Swamps of Baycotte. Pursuing another vision, the pair ran into Colrin Blest and his Classmates outside of The Spire in Somercrag where she tried to convince Colrin not to return to the Spire. During the conversation three Knights of The Spire arrived and began to drag not only Colrin but Todd as well into the tower. Sigrid was knocked unconscious in the fighting and the boys were both taken inside. When recovered she followed them into the Spire. She was briefly reunited with a Version of Todd who had been stranded in the Spire for an untold amount of time, maybe as much as a decade. Eventually learning more together of how the Spire worked, she and Colrin decided to use its Strange Phenomena to travel to the date Todd was first brought into the Spire by the knights. This allowed Sigrid to rescue him before he was ever able to spend time in the Spire, and in the process creating a Temporal Paradox, creating fatal consequences for Colrin and the other Todd. When Sigrid and Todd exited the Spire they found themselves in Riverfoot in the year 442KS, a little under nine years since they had entered the Spire. Sigrid and Todd have since carved out a life in Riverfoot.

• Rolan and Marybelle Rowntree, a couple who Sigrid once found having wandered off the roads in a perilous part of The Swamps of Baycotte. Sigrid saved them and set them on their way back toward The Kingdom of Rotheval.
