Exodus
The City of Exodus is one of the oldest settlements in The Continent of Amoth. Or, rather, there has been a settlement in roughly the same location in several periods in history.
The first record of a city called Exodus on the North-Western tip of Amoth's Northern island dates to around the time of the coming of The Black Sun, a period of great upheaval in the continent. Many of the peoples of Amoth fled the calamities caused by the Black Sun's arrival, and more still fled the tide of cruelty that followed. A majority of those people fled as far as they could by land first, trekking the long miles from whatever home they had once known to the furthest reaches of the country, to secure passage across the sea to The Continent of Igend. Inevitably there were far more people than ships to carry them, and so a shanty-town sprung up as people settled in to wait for passage.
Following this, a force of Allenian soldiers was stationed to assist the Harhovian guards of the city.*

New Exodus
By 454KS a city stood in that place. Some time around the turn of the century The Kingdom of Harhoven had established an enclave on the site of the old city of Exodus as the opening move of an abortive attempt at colonising Amoth. Although the plans for conquering the island were abandoned, the settlement of New Exodus, (later just 'Exodus') was a relative success, growing over time to a city in its own right once more. The Siege of Exodus
In May of 454KS ser Ashtin Phyrefenn and his companions arrived at Exodus as part of his search for Potential Allies to the Court of the King in Exile. They found the city besieged by a horde of bandits and barbarians gathered from the continent's people. However, before the Somercragian knight could intervene himself, the arrival of The Allenian 1st Royal Expeditionary Group, signalled by a long-range bombardment from the cannon of the Faint Hope, broke the siege.Following this, a force of Allenian soldiers was stationed to assist the Harhovian guards of the city.*
Defences
The city's defence is bolstered by the presence of XVth Allenian Foot under XVAF Major Lennart Dellinger.
* Due to restrictive Terms of the Truce between the Kingdoms of Harhoven and Alland, the Harhovians were unable to refuse the Allenians' offer of aid, resulting in a tense sharing of power between the two groups within the city, with the Harhovians regarding the Allenians more as occupiers than allies.
