March of Ancenis
History
The March of Ankenis was the brainchild of Dugez Aremburge, wife of Dug Guerech I, during The Poisoner's Game. Politically centered on an island in the Liger River, the fortress of Kastell-Ankenis was a key point in controlling both overland and river travel, providing a fortified defense against the Dugs of Anjev to the East.

The March is located on the border of the Duchy of Letha and the Duchy of Anjev along the Liger River. It shares the Duchy's border with the County of Angers and the Viscounty of Mauges across the river. Military
The March of Ancenis osts two major defensive fortresses that make up the chain of the Marches of Neustria. Kastell-Ankenis, located on a island in the Liger River, and Kastell-Oudon, located on the shale hillside downriver on the border with the Biskonti Naoned. The former controls the river as it crosses into Letha, while the latter controls the crossing along the road from Threetower to Naoned.
