Session 11

by Amir (Emir)

Now that Cami is free from the spirit we can really plan how to peacefully get the bandits to leave or change their career ideas. Though the planning got derailed some from the common argument style of Rhytlock and Cami. Rhytlock was arguing that Jana was too perky when not possessed and her claiming it was fine. Then he said she drank too much when she gets really sad and upset. Jana claimed that is just untrue and she does not. Nual’sha then pointed at the first night at Duran’s Outpost. Cami tried to argue back but instead stopped and sighed. Then they talk about needing some clue for Cami to say so Rhytlock can go back and shapechange into a bear if we have to fight. As we go to pack up we find that Cynica is suffering from Reborn sickness again. The elves and such think about things and realize that reborn sickness comes from being weak-willed. So, does this mean I am strong of will myself since I have never felt that illness before like others have done in this group or the last one.

So, we walk some to get there and this time get greeted better than last time I flew by there. They open the door and at the same time 3 humans and an aliwa are making fun of John. These people need a better leader, or maybe it is from the spirit. When opened we are allowed to come in but have to give them all our stuff and no weapons. When they will not listen to Cami, Jana then gets her bow out while the rude aliwa, I should be nicer here he did almost loose an arm, I mean Lucius gets ready to charge in, even though I said he should go after the aliwa. Lucius charges the leader and just before he goes to swing an arrow runs through his arm making it hard for him to fight. Due to that I try to save him from the leader who obviously would be better at combat. So, I get lucky and cause the leader to fly up about 1500 yards. As he falls down I rise up to the wall to go after some archers. Just before I get up I hear him hit the ground and it sounds like the person is severely broken. Then I hear people saying he is getting up and it sounds weird. I focus to rise up against the closest archer. I am able to get within his guard and flip around stopping him from running and saying surrender, so I did not have to cut into his chest. When I do that the combat is over as the rest took care of the leader. When I see him I puke and feel shaky and ready to burst into tears over what I did.

I can keep it together for a bit. I get to see Cami tell the bandits to get their things and go. We let the bandits leave and take the corpse of their leader. At the same time Lucius is mad at something Cami said and storms off to let the people in the back know they are liberated. John’s father Henry seemed upset for some reason that John was here. I think the emotions were a bit rough over all with the excitement of the fight and them being liberated. After he realized we are not hurting John he is calmer and glad we are there and happy to see John again. They have a cute family reunion hug between John, his father, mother, sister, and brother.

At this point I am not certain how much longer I can hold myself together. I find an empty house so me and Sagir go in and lock the shudders and door. I start to rock and quietly release my feelings from what I did. Then as I get to calm I realize I am making Sagir upset so I start again for making her sad as we cry and cuddle. During this time I hear Lucius and Cami talk and then Lucius I can hear tell Cami I am the scariest person in the group it scares him somewhat. Due to me being scary instead of what I want I lose it again since Lucius must think me a murderer and one that would enjoy ripping a man to sand and stain. As I calm down I sit and write out 2 letters as I hear the group discussing moving here because it is larger. Then I pray to The Brothers for what is an unforgivable sin. I can hear a direct response from them stating it is not a sin as I was defending John’s ability to return to family and that death prevented many more in town in that conflict.

Then I’m told there is going to be a celebration this evening for what the group did. Cami is determined to make people feel better now that they are free. I am told that we get a free meal and place to stay for the night. I am feeling a bit better but not certain I can eat much stronger than bread and milk. Luka and Cami go to talk with Henry about what happened, the bandits, and cleaning up the place. Luka learns the bandits have a camp south of here and some less aggressive bandits are north. While Luka, Cami, and Henry talk I am told to socialize and entertain the people that evening. So I sing, tell some stories, and talk to the different people in the inn and Greenwood Outpost.
