Session 2

O.k. so as I understand it, all the women spent a long time in The Great Quarter and at the Houndskeeper while I was wondering the city. They eventually met this small dwarf named Zahra. She is the same merchant that my Javid was discussing trade with prior to when I caused our death by messing up. From what I can tell she is angry and mean with a small dragon thing that loves a coin. Once I found them on our way out I met this green flying lizard thing who is called Rasak and seems to be an apprentice to Shirin. Rasak seems to be the first talking lizard I ever met and a mad and offended when I used the wrong term and called him a lizard instead of a dragon.
 
Well we then met a half man half shadow in a room once I touched the door. This man claims to be part of the goddess person that gave us this mission. I got a short bit of time to have a quiet reprieve from the women who scare me. Then I ask for a room to change to get ready and use the time to breathe and get myself and Sagir dressed for unholy cold weather where water actually freezes without magic. After I get ready, we are told that finding Yandali is the first thing we need to do. Second, is to escort her to her death. Shirin seems overly concerned with bringing a death person to death. Then the guy who claims to be the city’s patron goddess also states this thing is a test for us to prove we are worth this contract. I figure I am going to mess it all up, and then these women will have to save me, and I will end up failing. Maybe I can get lucky and just become stuck in Perago instead of being stuck in a booth. If that happens at least it will be quicker to know what Javid thought of and answered to the letter I sent him. I do hope that what ever punishment I get does not befall onto Sagir, she is too innocent and cute to have to suffer for my mistakes.
 
Well this false woman thing does answer some questions for us. He, she, it? States we can take items from here to and from Aos but items in Aos don’t really transfer. Also, when the priestess dies we get to come back then with her. Otherwise if we die it will hurt and we will come back to Perago.
 
After leaving the room I feel really wet and there is a strong metal smell. Then I realize it is us as I am slightly wet and sticky like the feel of an arm after it bleed and is clotting. YUCK! As we get our bearings and senses back there is the sound of breathing. Myself and Catalina notice there are 3 small bears. I try to do what I saw an animal training bard once do and offer food to make the animal do stuff. This time I want it to let us out and through. I notice Sagir is getting anxious and worried by them being here, not that I can blame her. As I get one to take the food it…talks?
Then we hear the sounds of a bigger creature move and stir. I am lucky to be in the front as the mother turns around and yells at me GET OUT! I close my eyes and then try to cast the same spell I did in Perago that got me in trouble. It works Sagir and I get out of there with and fall a short bit. Sagir seems to be really hurt though. I quickly work to treat her wounds and patch her up while she’s crying and such. During that minute or so I see everyone run out while I try to understand how a bear talks.
 
I wonder why everyone else did not just get out then. As they all come moving out of the cave I see Nasin has a bad head wound and they are working to fix it. Before I start to offer aid Shirin and Zahra just start yelling at me. I droop down and hang my head and quietly ask for Magic to protect us from the bears. As it knows best a tree leans in and blocks the path preventing the mother bear from getting out. I try to offer help and do what they need me to for Nasin but instead just get yelled at more and how this is all my fault for leaving. I can’t even come up with a proper response so I said something like but why didn’t you just leave like she said. Shirin and Zahra decide to yell at me more instead of being calm, so I can think this through.
 
I sorta rock back and fourth for a second and then ask magic to try and heal Nasin. After I cast the spell and I know Magic heard and starts to answer I go to check over Sagir 1 more time. The group mentions they saw an alter rise from the snow with candles and food offerings on it. I hear someone or something say “Pray to your Mistress”. I think everyone prayed to some woman. I was just confused. I mean I have no mistress as I am not dating a person, nor do I still work for a woman, and the death god person is not a man or woman so could not be that, and the 2 deities my family follow are brothers. As I come to even start to focus attention on maybe Magic means Peraga Nasin is up and moving so the message had to have been for everyone else.
 
We start to move, and I think everyone just hates me more now. Obviously, I can’t seem to function and perform at the level these women can. I try to do what the scary Saynor wanted to do and the little dwarf woman. But neither I think are happy with me. Then as we walk in silence for a bit Zahra mentions she sees smoke in the distance and gives a direction. The group heads that way and Shirin in her annoyance has her dragon lizard go out and kill a rabbit. I tried asking other people if they could hear those bear animals talk but I got no answer from it except to have a dead rabbit fall from the sky and almost hit me. This just goes to show that I am indeed the wrong person for this and least trained. Also, I notice now I am the only one here without any armor. But maybe the person in the house will be able calmly and nicely talk and trade stories for a place by the fire and some bandages and such so I can help Sagir heal better.
