Thrakos
The Isle of Strife
Thrakos also known as Dharashka, and aptly called the Isle of Strife is a very large island of the militaristic, maritime, nation of The Qyzharate of Duryad, and the fourth largest island in Naghron, located in the north-eastern part of Naghron, separated from Orogan and Naful by the Thrakiot channel and Sea of Sabres respecfully.
Geography
The central part of Thrakos is comprised of grassy low hills and forest, fertile land ideal for farming. The largest city on the island, is Z'ar Rilark. It is located on the eastern coast. The island's southern part is dominated by the Graydagger Mountains. This prominent mountain range, is also known as the known as the Great Wyrm's Spine, named so as many legends, floketales and rumours spoke of a mighty earth dragon slumbering beneath the land of Thrakos.
Thrakos is mountainous and forested in places, and there was no shortage of wood available for construction. The beautiful but rugged island contains the cities Z'ar Rilark, Qurthi and Ternosear, Thrakos is home to several coastal towns, villages and fishing communities. Among these the most notable are; Niarhular, Bazdarún, Kirfaan and Port Bosudyan. A "moat" of rough and treacherous currents surround the isle, making sailing is hazardous, especially during autumn storms when the cold can freeze ropes and sails. The nearby waters have rich fishing grounds. Along the coasts, long flat beaches can be found. Most lack sand, and are instead comprised of pebbles and rocks.

Like in other places in this area of Naghron, ancient ruins dot the landscape, which were left here by two fallen empires of ages past. Many dark secrets and dangers to would-be adventurers hid in land and buildings.
