Samar

Samara, also known as the Forgotten City, was a ruined city in Talonto. The city was infamous for the subterranean dungeon-complex known as the Vault of the Primordial Gift.

History

In its early days, the city of Samara prospered through mining and commerce. Its riches and power led to conflict, as the city became a battlefield for control over the khardialite. finaly the civil war ended and the khans of every tribe agreed to lock away the khardialite so that no trie could hold more of it than any other. They desided to share its riches among eachother. The city was forsaken during the human-sylvan invasions and the clerics that lived within lost their divine power. The inhabitants left their homes to live among the treetops and the city fell to ruin. Signs of the once-great society, its currency and maps showing its location, were purposefully destroyed. It truly became the Forgotten City.

Geography

Samara was located in a basin surrounded by grassland in the heart of the Talonto jungle. It was extremely difficult to find.
