Table of Contents
A kipruta is a Securer aircraft designed for intercepting traffic hazards and dragging endangered civilians to safety.

Power Generation

The aircraft's power is provided by several Harnessed Crystal Fire cells. The conduit grids distributing the electricity are highly redundant to avoid the failure of critical systems.

Propulsion

A kipruta is equipped with four multidirectional propulsion units in addition to the regular ones. This allows for exceptionally sharp turns and abrupt changes in overall velocity.   The propulsion as a whole is strong enough to move not only the kipruta itself but also a similarly heavy object that is attached to it. While this greatly reduces the maneuverability, it is sufficient to influence the trajectory of most other aircraft classes.

Weapons & Armament

A wide range of technologies is provided to disable or immobilize threats. Some examples are:
  • software agents which take over another craft's steering and propulsion systems
  • ray guns which create localized electromagnetic pulses to deactivate another craft's systems
  • grappling hooks based on electromagnetism or various chemical adhesives

Armor and defense

The hull is designed to minimize weight while still withstanding strong acceleration forces from any direction.   The grappling technologies mentioned above serve the additional purpose of anchoring the aircraft to a nearby structure, in case the propulsion systems should be insufficient to avoid a collision.   Furthermore, a kipruta can dispense a special foam which quickly solidifies into a cushioning layer on the sprayed surface. Said surface can be almost anything - the kipruta itself, a second craft, a wall, the ground or even an endangered pedestrian. However, the latter is only considered as a last resort. While the foam is non-toxic, it is extremely difficult to coat a person in it without accidently blocking their airways.

Communication Tools & Systems

The aircraft carries a local subset of the Danokon system. Unless the mission requires stealth, this subsystem constantly exchanges observations and predictions with the district's main server cluster. This gives the pilot immediate access to strategically relevant information, such as the most likely destination of the pursued craft or the personality profile of the opponent.   Besides using the global communication network, every kipruta is equipped with short-range radio transmitters for a direct connection to the other members of its squad.

Sensors

Sixteen arrays of magneto-optical, acoustic and chemical sensors are distributed over the outer hull. They are arranged in such a way that there are little to no blind spots, and their fields of perception overlap for additional safety. The sensors themselves are optimized for low latency and high temporal resolution, allowing for the detection of obstacles at high speed.

Additional & auxiliary systems

Specialized shock absorbers protect the pilot's body from the strong acceleration or deceleration forces. The kinetic energy absorbed this way is fed back into the kipruta's power grid.   The onboard Artificial Sapient system is responsible for pre-processing the raw sensor data and converting it to higher-level diagnoses, predictions and suggestions. These are then presented according to the pilot's current focus of attention, cognitive workload and personal preferences.
