Hekaden Fields

Overview

The Hekaden Fields are in constant flux. They are ostensibly farm land, and produce wonderful crops of grapes and wheat along with barley, rye, and other varieties of grain and grasses. However, random 'keyhole' shaped mounds are known to appear in the region, each Keyhole shaped mound will last for anything from a few days to hundreds of years, and range in size from the size of a man, to the size of a small town. These mounds are Hekaden - dens of treasure or demons, dens of emptiness or filled with horrors, they sit. They last at the behest of the Goddess Hecate, and are often visited by adventurers - all of them carrying magical keys that they have acquired through chance or design. Not all defeat the denizens of the Hekaden, but it does not stop them coming.

Location

The Hekaden Fields lie to the South western edge of Atlantia Planetia, and serves as the border between the Southern Green Jade Mountains and the more desolate areas of the Palm and Wrist of the Continent.
