The Lunar Field of Parnassus

Overview

The Lunar Field of Parnassus lies a few miles from the Parnassian Mountain Hole, and is littered with more examples of the Sustarre Projectiles that impacted the area during the Elven Exodus from the Moon. The area is still inhabited by some Elves, those who do not trust other races. This faction, known as the Moonseekers are a community determined to return to the Moon as soon as possible, and who have been seeking a range of technologies and magics that would allow them to achieve this.

History

The Moonseekers or Cestaithil, are the most stubborn of the Elvish communities. They refuse to move from the Lunar fields, believing that Artemis will only take those back who have proven themselves loyal to her plan. This they interpret to mean that the whole exodus is a form of test, and that only those who remain at the site will be allowed back into the Lunar Fields on the Moon itself.
As moonseekers, these elves have sent scouts out into the world to find technologies to help them return to the moon, but also try to limit the number of their own members who have to do this. This means that other Elves are often hired and tolerated (even converted if possible) by the Moonseekers to help ensure that the excursions to find Lunar travel based technologies and magics are followed correctly.
