Two Boot Stable
Overview
The Two Boot Stable is a play on the words 'To Boot' meaning 'As well' - indicating a tongue-in-cheek reference to the stables being run IN ADDITION to the Barrel O'Brew business on the other side of the town.The Two Boot Stable is the only formal stable to be run in the town and it provides extensive care and feeding of steeds and mounts. The Two Boot Stable is said to have a capacity of 80 steeds. How this is achieved is subject to rumors, but is said to include a form of Potions of Growth and Diminution that allows the steeds to be shrunk down to about the size of household cats or even mice in some situations - and their return to normal size upon request of the riders. Due to stresses on the steed's systems - it is said the Stable will not take on Steeds of less than average hit points per die, and will not shrink steeds of the company or regimental leaders (or above in rank) as a matter of course. The rider may also pay a premium to ensure the steed is kept at normal size.
