Wartin Fish Market

Named after the Wartin Gulf that supplies its catch, Wargun's fish market is certainly not the largest on Tarien. In fact, it is crammed into westernmost tine of the city's Darin Peninsula, tacking up little more than a block. The fact that you can see see water a hundred paces or so from three sides of the market, however, is a testament to the freshness of the catch. And, as the only fish market with access to the bounty of the Great North Sea, the variety that can be found is staggering, putting the industrial fisheries of Rathgar to shame. Form crabs the size of small children to halibut larger than a horse, icy waters provide a bounty of delicacies for the city's elite. Barrels of sardines, cod, and haddock feed the those or more meager means, that latter two often seen flying through the air from fishermen to sellers as a the only way to bring their catch to market amongst the crowded throng.
